The Impressionist and Modern Art Day Sale realised £18,253,525 / $29,023,105 / €21,831,216, selling 85% sold by lot and 93% by value. This is the highest total for a Day sale in the category at Christie’s. The top lot was Maisons aux toits pointus by Chaïm Soutine (1893-1943) which realised £1,105,250 / $1,725,295 / €1,300,879.
